Renovation of a modernist residence originally constructed during the period 1969-1970. The renovation was carried out by the architectural office Motus – Dimitris Sotiropoulos during 2024-2025.
The new architectural design is grounded in the existing modern architecture, enriched with references to the Greek movement of critical regionalism. New ceramic screens -klostra- are installed in both the exterior and interior spaces, defining, filtering, and organizing the individual functions of the residence. Particular emphasis is placed on the color palette and the selection of materials, with the aim of highlighting the building’s modern character and reviving the architecture of the 1970s through a contemporary architectural vocabulary.
