MADE IN ATHENS

Nestled at the foot of Filopappou Hill lies the only Ebru Studio in Greece, a space dedicated exclusively to the ancient arts of Ebru and Suminagashi. Founded in 2017 by Katerina Momitsa following her apprenticeship in Istanbul, the studio was created to marry centuries-old tradition with contemporary aesthetics.
Here, the mystic dance of color on water is transferred onto diverse mediums, creating collections of luxury scarves, accessories, and decorative items. We specialize in printing unique patterns on paper, fabric, wood, ceramics, and other materials. Each piece is a standalone work of art that cannot be repeated. Beyond production, the studio acts as a creative sanctuary, offering workshops where visitors explore the history and therapeutic rhythm of these techniques.
