Ioulia Makri is a painter, designer, and illustrator based in Greece. Her artistic practice is developed through personal photographic archives, which she translates into painted works using a variety of techniques and media. Central themes in her work include nostalgia, memory, discovery, and human connection, explored through narratives that move between personal experience and collective memory. In 2025 she opened her own personal art studio, where along with her practice, she also conducts painting and drawing classes and creative workshops for kids and adults.
