A 1964 apartment was renovated by architect Ricardo Alba, with a primary focus on preserving its original character. The layout was subtly reconfigured by relocating the kitchen to the generous entrance hall, allowing space for a new second bedroom.
Traces of the past remain visible in the flooring, where green Tinos and Parnonas marble “stitch” the area previously occupied by the old kitchen. Original wooden floors, windows, and shutters were carefully restored, preserving the apartment’s authentic fabric. The result is a gentle dialogue between the building’s history and the present day.
